However, the second part of the podcast discusses Ohio's Issue 1 election held on August 8, 2023, and how the majority of people in its major cities and suburbs decided that constitutional amendments need 50 percent support from voters to pass. However, the majority of rural Ohio voted to change the law for 60 percent support.
